PLAN AHEAD: IAH Terminal B Lobby Closure

Beginning on January 21, 2025, United Airlines will temporarily close the IAH Terminal B Ticketing Lobby. It will remain closed until late 2026. 

Here's what you need to know:

• During this time, United Airlines Gates B3–B31 will remain operational.

• All Terminal B passengers will check in, drop their bags and clear TSA screening at Terminal C.

• Passengers will then take the Skyway from Terminal C to Terminal B. 

The Terminal A/B and Terminal C/D/E parking garages remain open. If you park at the A/B garage, a United Airlines express shuttle will take you to your desired terminal. If any of the garages are full, the EcoPark off-airport parking shuttle services remain available.

PLAN AHEAD: IAH Terminal B Club and Concessions Closure

Beginning Wednesday, January 15, 2025, United Airlines will close the existing United Club and Concessions in the Terminal B Processor Building.  

Here's what you need to know:

• Concessions at B South will remain open.
• For flights departing from Terminal B, customers are recommended to:
  • Visit the Clubs in Terminal A or Terminal C and allow at least 20 minutes for transit between terminals to ensure they arrive on time for boarding.
  • Or visit the new Club Fly near the B gates (opening in late February 2025).

As of Monday, February 24, the new Terminal E Ticketing Lobby is now open at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). This is a significant change to the passenger journey. To ensure a smooth transition, we are informing passengers of important parking and terminal access information if departing via Terminal E.

Parking Information: We encourage you to make an online parking reservation. If you park in the Terminal A/B or Terminal C/D/E garages, all customers should proceed to Terminal C. You can either check-in at Terminal C or take the Subway (Pre-Security) from Terminal C to Terminal E for check-in. If you park at an ecopark lot, the free shuttle bus will drop you off at Terminal E.

Pre-book Your Parking: To save time and secure a spot, we recommend pre-booking your parking at least 12 hours in advance at www.fly2houston.com/parking. This will guarantee you a parking space and reduce last-minute stress on your travel day.

Arrive Early: We encourage passengers to allow extra time to park and navigate their way to Terminal E and use curbside drop-off when possible. We’ve deployed additional staff to assist travelers.
